I recently had the opportunity to work on an exciting photoshoot for Point-7 Windsurfing one of the most innovative and standout brands in the world of windsurfing. Our mission was to showcase the brand-new Slash, designed specifically for freestyle windsurfing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location than
Fuerteventura—an island that offers some of the best and most varied windsurfing conditions in the world.
Over the course of the shoot, we traveled across the island to capture the sail’s versatility in a range of conditions. From the starboard tack jumping conditions and small waves in the island’s northern shores to the perfectly flat, offshore waters of Risco del Paso in the south, every spot presented a unique challenge and an opportunity to highlight the performance of the Slash
My role on the project was to capture it all—from intense water shots to dynamic land shots and breathtaking drone angles—ensuring we had a variety of perspectives to show the true power, precision, and high-quality action that Point-7 is known for. The sail performed flawlessly across different conditions, and through these images, we aimed to communicate the thrill and cutting-edge technology that defines Point-7’s commitment to excellence in freestyle windsurfing.
