For this project, I had the chance to meet up with professional rapid wave surfer and surfboard brand founder Valeska Schneider during her visit to Düsseldorf for a surf contest. Together, we created a series of lifestyle images for NIO, focusing on how well the new EL7 model complements the everyday life of a surfer.

With its sleek design and spacious trunk—big enough to fit multiple surfboards—the EL7 blends performance, practicality, and style, making it a perfect match for an active, urban lifestyle. Despite some unexpected rain showers, which made shooting a bit challenging, the soft and even light gave our images a unique atmosphere.

I’m really grateful for this opportunity and collaboration, and I’m already looking forward to what’s next.
