Celebrating the Spirit of Watersports - We Love Water


In early 2024, I had the privilege of working with Boot Düsseldorf, the world’s largest watersports exhibition, on a captivating new marketing campaign centered around the powerful theme: We Love Water. Our journey led us to the stunning shores of Cape Town, South Africa, where we spent two intense weeks capturing the essence of watersports in all their thrilling diversity.


From the rush of windsurfing and kitesurfing to the peaceful flow of SUPing, sailing, and diving, we covered every corner of the watersport world. Each day was a new adventure, as we traveled across Cape Town’s stunning coastline in search of the perfect conditions for every sport. Surfing, fishing, wakeboarding, and boating were just a few of the activities we showcased, all in pursuit of a single passion: the love of water.


As one of the main videographers on the project, I had the opportunity to capture not only the dynamic action of these sports but also the deep connection that athletes have with the water. Alongside my filming, I also documented the behind-the-scenes moments, offering a glimpse into the making of a campaign that truly embodies the heart and soul of watersports.


The result is a campaign that celebrates the universal love of water, showcasing its ability to bring people together, challenge them, and inspire them—perfectly reflecting the spirit of Boot Düsseldorf and its dedication to all watersports.
